What drives her: “My endless drive started very young,” she said. She saw her father fight cancer and pass away when she was 10. It showed her how precious each day is.
An interesting fact about Kruse: She had the opportunity to visit the Naval Amphibious Base in Coronado, Calif. She experienced the infamous obstacle course, the shooting range and tandem skydiving with Navy SEALs.
